Vanessa Fischer recently joined KION Group AG as a Startup and Venture Analyst. Before, she worked in Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity. She graduated with an MBA from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in 2018. She wrote her master thesis about shareholder activism supervised by Prof. Schalast and in cooperation with Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB). As SGCIB offers comprehensive advisory services using the full spectrum of expertise including Financing, Ratings, Market Risk, Structuring and Execution across sectors, they assigned the research paper in the context of their strategic advisory services for clients related to activism.
